How much does booking software cost in Australia?
Fully Booked costs A$100 per venue a month, ex GST, with unlimited staff and no commission. Onboarding is a one-off fee. SMS and payment processing are separate. Compare venue pricing with per-staff plans to see what suits your shop.
Square Appointments offers location-based pricing and requires you to process every payment through Square. That means you can't choose your own payment provider.
You pay per venue, not per staff member. Add staff and your bill stays the same. Each extra shop is another A$100 a month.

Online booking your customers will actually use

Walk-ins, from check-in to payment
Tablet kiosk or QR code. Walk-ins check in at the counter or on their own phone. Kiosk mode shows one shop’s check-in and bookings.

"You're next" SMS lets customers wait at the cafe next door. Google review SMS follows 30 minutes after you mark the service done. You can change the delay. Each customer gets one at most every three months.

Stripe is built in. Take Apple Pay, Google Pay and cards at booking, with saved cards for regulars.
One Stripe account per shop if you want takings in separate bank accounts.
Prefer another provider? Choose from several payment providers, including eWAY, PayPal, Adyen, Mollie and Worldline. We connect the one you prefer during setup.
Take payments at the counter. Add a point of sale with a Tyro terminal for walk-ins and retail. We quote it separately, because it needs its own setup.

No. Stripe is built in and quickest to set up. If you use eWAY, PayPal or another supported provider, we connect it during onboarding. For payments at the counter, we can add a point of sale with a Tyro terminal, quoted separately. You still pay nothing to Auboros on each booking.

Yes, tell our team what would help your shop. If it fits the product roadmap, we build it for every venue in a normal update.
How much does barbershop booking software cost in Australia?
Most platforms charge per staff member. Timely is A$42 to A$79 per bookable staff member a month, Fresha is about A$30 per team member plus 20% of a new marketplace client's first visit, and Square Appointments is free for one location or A$40 to A$90 per location with Square payments. Fully Booked is A$100 a month per venue, ex GST, with unlimited staff, plus a one-off onboarding fee.
Is there a commission or new client fee?
No. Auboros takes 0% of each booking. You pay the venue price, SMS at cost and your chosen provider’s processing rates. Payments go through your own account.
Can I cancel, and how does the 12-month plan work?
On the monthly plan you can cancel any time, with no notice period. Your service runs to the end of the paid month, then stops. The 12-month plan is 12 monthly payments of A$83.33 per venue, two months free. There are no refunds for change of mind, and no early exit.
Can I keep my existing client list from Fresha or Timely?
Yes. We import names, phone numbers, emails and notes from your exported spreadsheet during onboarding. Your old booking history stays in your old system. Run both systems for the last two weeks of your current plan.
How long does setup take?
It depends on your business: the number of venues, staff and services, and the data we import. We confirm a timeline and a go-live date with you after the free demo.
Does it work for hairdressers, nail salons or dental clinics?
Yes for anything that books a person at a venue for a set time: hairdressers, nail and beauty salons, tattoo and massage studios, physio and dental reception. It handles appointments, reminders, payments and rosters. Your clinical records stay in your practice software.
What happens when I hire another barber or open a second shop?
Adding staff costs nothing. A second venue is another A$100 a month, with no setup fee. You add it yourself on the same login, with its own hours, roster and Stripe account if you want one. We show you how in your training.
Where is it hosted and who supports it?
Auboros hosts, backs up and updates it, and our team in Brisbane and the Gold Coast supports you. Email support and up to an hour of configuration changes a month are included; bigger changes are quoted.
