How it is calculated
Multiply the published per-user monthly price by users and twelve, add published hosting charges and the implementation package band, then apply GST if selected.
licence_year = users × plan_price_per_user_month(billing) × 12 (0 for One App Free)
hosting_year = Odoo.sh: (workers × per_worker + staging × per_staging + storage_gb × per_gb) × 12; Online and on-premise: 0 (on-premise: "your own server costs")
implementation = package price band (low–high) from the packages hub
year_1 = licence_year + hosting_year + implementation
year_2_onward = licence_year + hosting_year
GST = 10% on all of it when included
per_user_month = (licence_year + hosting_year) ÷ users ÷ 12- Rates as at date awaiting confirmation from Odoo Pricing · Verification pending
- Rates as at date awaiting confirmation from Implementation Packages · Verification pending
- Rates as at 2026-09-07 from Gst
How is Odoo priced in Australia?
Per user, per month, in Australian dollars on Odoo’s published price list, with two paid plans. Standard covers every Odoo app on Odoo Online hosting. Custom costs more per user and unlocks Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting, Odoo Studio for customisation, multi-company and the external API, which is what most wholesalers and manufacturers need once integrations and custom fields come into play. Yearly billing is cheaper than monthly. Only internal users are counted: customers and suppliers using the portal, and employees who only submit expenses or timesheets through the portal, are free. The estimator uses the published prices on the date shown at the top of the page and nothing else.
What does an Odoo implementation cost on top of licences?
A fixed price for a defined scope, in our case. Implementation covers discovery, configuration of the apps in scope, data migration from the current system, integrations, testing, training and go-live support, and it is the larger number in year one for most businesses under fifty users. We publish package prices by scope so the estimate here is not a guess; the estimator adds the package you choose to the licences and hosting and shows year one and the ongoing years separately. The full scope of each package is on the Odoo implementation cost in Australia page.
Is Odoo.sh or Odoo Online the right hosting?
Odoo Online is included with the Standard and Custom plans, managed entirely by Odoo, and suits businesses with no custom code. Odoo.sh is Odoo’s platform for custom modules: it adds staging branches, backups, a development workflow and the ability to install community and custom apps, priced per worker (concurrent capacity), staging branch and storage. On-premise means your own servers and your own operations. Most Australian wholesalers and manufacturers we work with end up on Odoo.sh once they need an integration or a custom report; the estimator prices it from the published Odoo.sh rates.
How many Odoo users do you actually need?
Fewer than the headcount. Count the people who will create or edit records: sales, purchasing, warehouse, accounts, management. Customer and supplier portal access is separate from internal-user access. Confirm the licence required for each employee role and workflow before deciding the user count. A 40-person wholesaler often runs on 12 to 18 internal users. Enter the number you think, then talk to us about the roles; user count is the main lever on the ongoing cost.

Frequently asked questions
Are Odoo prices in Australian dollars?
Yes. Odoo publishes an Australian price list in AUD, excluding GST, per user per month, with a lower rate for yearly billing. The estimator uses those published figures and shows the date they were checked; if the list changes, the page is updated and the date moves.
Is the One App Free plan really free?
Yes, for one app with unlimited users on Odoo Online, such as Inventory alone or CRM alone. Adding a second app moves the whole database to a paid plan, and there is no custom code. It suits a single-function trial; most businesses move to Standard or Custom within the first year.
Do portal users cost anything?
Customers and suppliers using the portal are normally separate from paid internal users. An employee who uses internal applications needs the appropriate licence; timesheets, expenses and approvals should be checked against the published plan and the actual workflow before estimating user numbers.
How accurate is this estimate?
The licence and hosting lines are exact for the plan and user count at the published prices on the date shown. Implementation is a band from our fixed-price packages; the actual package depends on scope, which we confirm in a discovery call. The estimate is a budget figure, not a quote.
